Our mission is to promote concussion awareness, prevention, and management in youth football, ensuring young athletes are protected and equipped with the knowledge to stay safe on and off the field.
Our vision is a future where football fosters player well-being through increased awareness, education, and collaboration in concussion awareness, prevention and management. By implementing best practices and promoting health, we aim to ensure that every player can enjoy the game with confidence and care for their well-being.
The Reform Project: Protecting Players’ Futures
The Reform Project is a 3-year initiative co-funded by Erasmus+, aiming to enhance concussion awareness in youth football across Europe. Through collaboration with football associations, healthcare professionals, and educational institutions, we develop and test tools that protect the health and well-being of young players.
Throughout the project’s duration, we are focusing on: Creating Tools and Resources: We’re developing toolkits, courses, and online learning platforms to educate coaches, healthcare professionals, parents, and players about concussion safety. Testing in Four Countries: Our resources are being tested in Norway, Germany, Croatia, and Turkey through training sessions, workshops, and digital tools to ensure they are effective. Engaging the Community: We’re also launching social media campaigns, webinars, and working with local partners to spread awareness and encourage the adoption of concussion prevention practices.
The goal of this project is to ensure that young players can continue to enjoy football safely, backed by a strong support network of coaches, parents, and medical professionals. By the end of the project, we will have implemented and evaluated effective practices in our pilot countries, which can serve as models for other regions and sports initiatives, ensuring a lasting impact.
